Daniel Leight, jeune homme très proche du gouvernement de Washington, lutte contre un groupe de terroristes d’armes chimiques : le groupe des « Pythons ». C’est au cours d’un combat contre ces derniers, qu’il est laissé pour mort dans une grave explosion.
