Anne est pianiste de jazz et aveugle de naissance. François, son mari, est astrophysicien et aveugle depuis l'âge de sept ans. Ils ont deux enfants voyants et sont heureux dans leur vie professionnelle comme dans leur vie personnelle. Mais leur quotidien bascule le jour où on propose à François de lui greffer une cornée artificielle, ce qui permettrait de lui faire retrouver la vue. Plusieurs questions se posent alors pour lui, et au sein du couple. Pourront-ils vivre cette mixité dans la double acceptation de la différence de l'autre ?
